What Makes a Good CEO?
Is personality an essential element in ethical leadership? Would it be especially important in managers? In leadership, especially among Entrepreneurs, is character important? For what reason? I believe character is very vital in moral leadership. The truth study mentions that you can inform a lot of a person by simply how they handle those in subordinate roles. It is even that much more essential in management and leadership functions, such as CEO's. Character discloses who a person actually is, and how they will treat others, especially those within a lower function. Character can be connected to ethics; a person with great character may have good values and vise versa. Do you agree with the Waiter Rule? Does it offer useful ideas into who also might be honest or unethical leader? Will need to cooperate planks consider character when selecting someone intended for the top position? I agree with the Waiter Regulation! I feel just like someone who is really nice and with good figure will treat everyone the same. This regulation provides superb insight on who could possibly be an honest leader. With so many ethical scandals as mentioned in the case research about CEOs in the the past few years, it would be essential for corporate planks to consider character once hiring a CEO. Is using the Waiter Secret too basic a guideline in hiring an individual people in important positions such as CEOs? I think this guideline is easy, but crucial. When business boards start to get too technical in their suggestions of hiring CEOs, they will miss the important skills for a good CEO. Character as one of the most important skills in leadership can make or perhaps break a business. The Waiter Rule may be the perfect technique of telling when a person is really ethical.
