Moral Issues in Employment Regulation
There are many different regulations that business employers must follow to become fair with their employees also to avoid getting penalized by government. These types of laws however are broken often especially since these types of laws limit the employer and will make this more challenging for them to conduct all their business instead of to look out for all their employees. The Fair Labor and Standards Act of 1938 can be one of the main works that help the labor regulations here in the usa (Ko, Medeloff, 2010). The Fair Labor and Requirements Act (FLSA) created the forty-hour work week, established the minimum income for the nation as well as ensuring that there were restrictions for utilizing minors. Prior to the creation of this act companies were not controlled and you could see workers working extremely long weeks with different pay and also young children working in factories in dangerous conditions. President Franklin Roosevelt declared that this single piece of guidelines was one of the important in the history of the us. Since the creation of this act there have been a large number of amendments to keep to help guard the rights of workers in all varieties of working domains. Personally I possess worked in lots of different areas from eating places to contracting and even jogging my own business, I have knowledgeable the impacts that being treated unfairly in a job setting can make someone look and I also have recently been on the employer side exactly where we are regularly looking at the labor laws and regulations and being sure that everyone inside our company are following all of them every single day.
