1 . Farrenheit. Scott Fitzgerald (The Wonderful Gatsby)

Once World War 1 neared its end, Fitzgerald became a second lieutenant, and was stationed by Camp Sheridan, in Montgomery, Alabama. During your time on st. kitts he fell in love with a seventeen year old called Zelda Sayre and your woman agreed to marry Fitzgerald but she delayed their marriage until this individual proved that he could make money. Having been able to influence Zelda in marrying him after earning some celebrity and money from his novel " This Slide of Paradise” in 1920. When his most famous book, " The truly amazing Gatsby” was published in 1925 this individual portrayed The writer Gatsby while himself, wherever Gatsby is known as a young man who have enjoys prosperity and extravagance and falls in love which has a woman when he was stationed at a military camp from the southern. Fitzgerald's lifestyle becomes outrageous and careless with celebrations and trying to please Zelda with his composing and making profits is similar to Gatsby's own approach in acquiring money and tossing parties to earn Daisy's affection. A style covered in " The truly great Gatsby” is that money and riches is one able to day bring about corruption and disaster. Fitzgerald uses Nick and The author to show how the 1920s become an era of corroded social and moral principles with cynicism, greed, and the empty quest for pleasure and just how the American dream started to be corrupted coming from money and pleasure.
